1. Controlled Moisture Content

All wood used in our production is dried to a moisture content of 8%–12%, depending on its species and the climate of the destination country. This control helps prevent deformation, cracking, and shrinkage, ensuring long-term stability.

2. Clean Surface with Minimal Defects

We select wood with smooth surfaces, free from major knots, cracks, resin pockets, or warping. While small natural imperfections are sometimes embraced for aesthetic reasons, any flaw that compromises structure or finish quality is rejected.

3. Consistent Grain and Appearance

For visible parts like doors, drawer fronts, and table tops, we prioritize timber with uniform grain patterns and attractive natural color to create a refined and cohesive visual effect.

4. Free from Insects and Mold

All materials are strictly inspected to be free from insect infestation, mold, and mildew. Any wood showing signs of pest damage or contamination is immediately discarded to ensure product hygiene and safety.

5. Durability and Strength

Depending on the function of the product, we choose wood species with suitable density and hardness. For example, high-stress components like bed frames or cabinet carcasses use solid hardwood or high-quality plywood to ensure load-bearing capacity and long-term use.

6. Legally and Sustainably Sourced

At Jiangsu Weisen, we are committed to ethical and eco-friendly sourcing. All our wood is legally harvested, and we work with FSC-certified or responsibly managed suppliers whenever possible, to support sustainable forestry practices.
